Current grade = (total points earned ÷ total points possible) × 100

Before you rely on the number

Things worth checking

If your syllabus splits work into categories such as homework, quizzes, and exams with different percentages, the points method will disagree with your gradebook. Use the weighted grade calculator instead.
Ungraded or excused assignments should be left out entirely rather than entered as a zero.
